I did a big closet clean up recently and it got me thinking about the main basics I currently have and what pieces I would like to add. Often times, we get so excited about unique and statement pieces and we forget to invest in the ones that actually build up our wardrobes. For me, those are the classic items that never go out of style and are better quality so they’ll last even after wearing and washing them time after time. Every person has a slightly different idea of what basic pieces are and what works best for them, this sweater, skirt and sneakers are all items I consider basic and can endlessly be mixed and matched. Up until a couple of seasons ago I didn’t even know how great the basic classics really are. Camel, gray or cream were at the bottom of my mind and tucked deep in my closet which is such a shame because now it’s on my steady rotation of favorites.
You’ll never regret buying a classic item and the combination are endless. You’ll be surprised how many looks you can come up with after investing in even one great piece.

My best friend in fall is definitely knits + over sized and with my growing baby bump over sized knits are my go to’s, couldn’t get any better than that!

I have always been the more winter/fall girl than a summer beach babe. Sure, I love sunny hot days by the sea but in regards to fashion I can’t help but feel happier during the colder months. After all, isn’t style way more interesting when playing with layers, fabrics and textures?
Those really cold days didn’t quite strike yet and every day is so different from the other, all I’m wearing lately are easy dresses, and a bunch of layers which I can remove if necessary, like this leather jacket – one of those must haves for fall, which I’m sure you guys already know because how much more can we hear about how great leather jackets are for fall?!
I’m super excited to bundle up my baby bump this winter in cozy knits and scarfs, my two last pregnancies ended in the summer and it was quite horrible, it really was a challenge- fashion wise to say the least. I couldn’t be happier for the change this time around!
Hope that you guys like this look, thanks for stopping by today!! xx,

Keeping everything light and relaxed with grays and whites. The window for minimal layers, lightweight knits & last of fall wear is almost over and I’m taking full advantage of that before bundling up in a million layers.
Thanks for stopping by!

You might have seen this already on Instagram but we will be having baby #3 in March!! We are so so so exited!! I am already 20 weeks pregnant and I wanted to wait until I’m half way through for the baby announcement. I must say it was a bit of a challenge since I already have a little bump for a few weeks now (you can totally tell on some of the latest photos if you pay attention). I’m super impatient finding out the baby’s gender, I already had two checkups and the doctor could not tell because of the baby’s position. Both genders would be super fun… having a boy would be totally cool just because after having two boys I realized how cool and awesome baby boys are! they seriously are the coolest! but then a girl would be fun so I know I have my girl! Like I need at least one girl!
I love dressing the bump during these few weeks before I become really huge then it just gets so hard finding the right fit, I can’t even get close to the maternity section in stores and later on it gets really challenging styling the bump, all I want to do is stay in pajamas the whole day. for now I’m just enjoying my little belly, I know this pregnancy will fly by so fast!
Thanks for all your sweet comments on my instagram announcement, it is really nice reading them all and I’m excited to share this chapter in my life with you! xx,

The calendar is showing fall but the days are just too bright and sunny, stretching summer a bit longer isn’t the worst thing in the world but I was really looking forward to seeing the fall foliage of NY, for now everything is basically all green, I mean it is mid October and still nothing! for now I will just enjoy the few final days of nice weather before the first real cold and rain.

These photos are the exact opposite of the current weather I’m experiencing right now as I am in NYC and loving the crispy fall chilled yet warm temperatures. Didn’t get around posting these photos from a few weeks ago, better late then never!
On a warm Sunday afternoon my little family and I headed out on a fun day trip and spent the afternoon at a little horse range not to far from where we live. The more time I have spent traveling Israel, the more I have fallen in love with our country. We can become far too comfortable with what lies in our backyard without ever exploring what is a short ride or amazing road trip away. Israel is really so small and I am always amazed by how every few kilometers feels like another world, this country is an amazing place and every time I visit a new place I am reminded of that. xx,
