I used to knit a bit when I was in high school since I would travel far every day and the rides were somewhat boring. Then I put the needles and yarn away and got into different things… a few days ago I was in the mood of watching a film but didn’t want to just waste time so I reached out for the knitting bag. I did in fact need to watch a tutorial on YouTube since I basically forgot the whole technique of knitting. I find knitting very relaxing and I’m already dreaming of all the things I can make!

Talking about the film I watched, this is it called “About time”. I love how it gave me a bit of a different perspective on how to enjoy every day and find the extraordinary in an ordinary life.

Avocado oil. Yes, this is what I put on my face after my shower and I can’t tell you enough how soft and smooth my skin feels every morning! I have sensitive skin and I’m always searching for great products that don’t feel to harsh for my type of skin. Avocado oil is a great alternative and the benefits of its ingredients on the skin are countless plus it’s all natural with zero chemicals. don’t get me wrong I’m not a health freak or something but this thing works!!

As soon as the winter comes around my husband and I get our tea collection refilled and our tea time rescheduled, just kidding we don’t actually have tea time 🙂  I really should make tea time every day since I have a bit of that tradition in my blood, my mom is dutch and my grandparents still have tea time every single day!

Got these cute tea bag holders from my aunt in Holland. How cute are they?!

Love this army green coat made by Karl Marc John – a french brand spread out in historic districts of Paris and major cities in France. I love their chic & urban collection for winter, I sure do recommend a visit to one of their boutiques wile in Paree! This coat is so comfortable and I’m getting a lot of use out of it this winter!

I know I’ve been a bit MIA lately and I’ll blame it all on the weather! had the craziest week, first it was the snow storm, which I’m fine with like I mentioned here, but then the electricity  shut down and we had to bundle up in blankets and coats indoors, to make things worse the water went down as well, so we were evacuated for 24h until everything went back to normal. It was weird, felt like the end of the world!

I was going through my closet and pulled out what has to be the warmest sweater I have,   decided to have a knitted kind of day look.

This morning I woke up to a white magical blanket. It is currently snowing a storm as I’m typing, the roads are blocked with snow and schools are closed which means I get to stay home with my hubby & baby and launch around in pj’s all day, sipping my favorite Chai tea milk.

On cold days like this Thursday I like searching around for things that make me feel good which obviously is shopping!! here are some of my favorite finds, I hope they end up in my closet 🙂  Xx,

I definitely have a soft spot for neutrals and muted tones. One of my favorite’s is the pale pink color- I could wear it head to toe, I just can’t get enough of it!

I also L-O-V-E scarves, I wear them with everything and since the weather is currently all over the place (sunny, cold, rainy, warm) it’s perfect for any situation, you’ll be seeing a lot of them hear in the near future!

This week the winter has finally arrived here and today the rain came in full force. I’m not usually one to be excited about the rain but I have to confess, I’ve been secretly wishing it would rain so I can wear these boots which originally are horse riding boots but to me they serve as rain boots, hehe.

Now I’m back home all snuggled up in my pajamas, sipping hot cocoa and watching the raindrops run down the window.

The weather in Israel has been crazy temperamental- in a hot way, leaving me no choice but to wear a T-shirt and a jersey skirt mid day. The knit is here just so you guys don’t think these photos are from last summer!
