There’s truth in the fact that simplicity can be all you need in making a bold statement. In my point of view, over-accessorizing is something that gets under my skin and most often ruins an outfit. If you’re going to do a crazy colored bag, shoe or sunglasses in my case, the remainder of the look needs to be as basic as possible. I feel that most of the time it’s harder to keep a look basic than going crazy and over accessorizing or throwing on too many layers. I’m all in for getting out of your comfort zone but keeping things simple is more of a challenge to me, and most of the time not doing this is the reason for a failed look.
Now finally, I was able to break out one of my winter coats I’ve been hoarding this season deep in my closet, waiting for the warm weather to give in for just a moment. I’m super excited for tomorrow as the Meteorological Service predicts a heavy storm and maybe even some snow!!

With Hannukah only days away, everyone is looking for those last minute gifts. I have
put together a list on what to get your husband, father, friend or any man in your
life! Honestly, finding that special something for the guys in your life can be quite
a challenge.
For those of you who don’t know, my husband is the man behind the camera of this
blog, he is a total techie , constantly upgrading his gear and following the latest

I’m a big fan of taking something super casual, like a sweatshirt, and dressing it up. The sweatshirt adds a relaxed element to whatever you’re pairing it with. No longer is this cozy long sleeved item reserved for lazy days at home. Normally I wouldn’t wear a sweatshirt with this skirt, but the sweatshirt makes it feel younger and more daytime appropriate. It made for a super comfortable outfit, while still looking dressed up.

As I mentioned earlier this week on my Instagram page, we don’t really know what winter is in this country. I mean we do have some really cold days and even a couple of snowy days but in between the sun will be all out there. I actually saw people in shorts and sandals as I was walking around the streets of Tel Aviv this week. anyways, talking about hot days in the end of November, a light ensemble in the winter totally makes me happy, although it can look a tad summery. Whatever makes you happy, right?

Wearing one of my favorite combos today: A denim skirt and a plain white T-shirt which I either steal from my husbands closet or buy a size or two up than my normal size – I think it’s going to become a pretty regular thing for me, There’s something about a slouchy T-shirt that just gets me.
So I’ve officially decided that my favorite piece of clothing this season is the poncho/blanket we’ve been seeing all over, It is way too fun wearing it, I feel like I rolled out of bed with my blanket. I love how the poncho pairs with these shoes I picket up at Zara, Lately I’ve been gravitating towards a more casual maybe even a bit grunge style, but without the whole I-don’t-care attitude 🙂 but no worries, I still love anything colorful and girly!
