The calendar is showing fall but the days are just too bright and sunny, stretching summer a bit longer isn’t the worst thing in the world but I was really looking forward to seeing the fall foliage of NY, for now everything is basically all green, I mean it is mid October and still nothing! for now I will just enjoy the few final days of nice weather before the first real cold and rain.

These photos are the exact opposite of the current weather I’m experiencing right now as I am in NYC and loving the crispy fall chilled yet warm temperatures. Didn’t get around posting these photos from a few weeks ago, better late then never!

On a warm Sunday afternoon my little family and I headed out on a fun day trip and spent the afternoon at a little horse range not to far from where we live. The more time I have spent traveling Israel, the more I have fallen in love with our country. We can become far too comfortable with what lies in our backyard without ever exploring what is a short ride or amazing road trip away. Israel is really so small and I am always amazed by how every few kilometers feels like another world, this country is an amazing place and every time I visit a new place I am reminded of that. xx,

SUEDE LOVE

IMG_8671c IMG_8663c IMG_8690c IMG_8685 IMG_8665c IMG_8669

Skirt: Zara Shirt: Zara Shoes: Aldo

This skirt has been on my mind for months now , Well not this skirt exactly, but any other camel suede skirt. I’m having one of those moments we all have every now and then, when we can’t imagine life before a certain piece enters our wardrobe.  This skirt would also be great paired with a turtleneck for fall. Apropos of fall, anybody else but me can’t wait a second longer for fall to arrive?

All clothing: Touch

You know me and super fancy, colorful outfits, we typically aren’t a match made in fashion heaven. But then when I was offered to work with Touch – a high end evening wear brand, I thought to myself why not, getting out of your comfort zone is always a good idea and wearing something I typically wouldn’t wear can turn into a fun dress up day!

Some of the pieces in their holiday collection are definitely jaw droppers and will be great for the up-coming holiday season. As summer comes to an end I can definitely see how I’d style these outfits by adding tights, booties & blazers to my favorite pieces.

Xx,

Special thanks to Touch for sponsoring this post!

It’s never easy being a mom trying to juggle Life and motherhood. Between having the kids home on summer vacation and my house being renovated things are a bit more busy than usual. This morning as my husband took our older son to work and the baby was having his morning nap I quickly took advantage of that short window of opportunity and updated the blog. Being a wife, a mom of 2 kids, and being a housekeeper and a student I can not help but feel overwhelmed at times by all the many things happening in life. When I’m with the kids I feel guilty of not pursuing my career dreams and when I am busy with a project or I am at school for hours at a time I feel even worse. The last thing I want to sound is ungrateful because I know I am blessed beyond words with a loving husband, two beautiful boys, this blog I am so passionate about and so much more. But when a week passed by and I hadn’t put up a single post I kept thinking how do I make this all work and not give up?

Then I realized it is all about letting go of the guilt, although we can’t be at all places at the same time, we can find balance and try to make it all work. There are so many interest we have as humans, the last thing we want is to neglect a hobby or a passion we have. If you have a dream don’t just dream of it, make it happen and if you are not successful at least you tried. Keeping up with our many different interest besides motherhood is what will make us greater moms to our children at the end of the day. xx,

One thing is certain: Israel gets HOT in the summer. It is basically impossible to walk out in the street during the day but then in the late afternoon at around 5 or 6 this amazing breeze cools down the fire hot air. This time of day makes me love summer again. I know not all cities in Israel are nice and breezy in the evening  but I especially love nights in Jerusalem where the evenings can almost get chilly and you would do yourself a favor and always keep a light sweater in hand. Every summer I hear people (including myself) resent the terrible heat and yearn for the moment fall will come around, then I can’t help but think how life goes by in such a quick pace and all I want to do is stop and look around once in a while, enjoy the moment instead of just rushing by the seasons. I like to think of summer as this: The days are tragic but the nights are magic.

Thanks for stopping by! xx,

WHITE ON THE BREAKWATER

Image00019 Image00029 Image00020 Image00005 Image00011 Image00002 Image00017

Dress: Zara (similar here or here) Hat: F21

This summer I’m all into wearing all white, it is so easy and as you know I’m all about simple and easy. Just throw on a white dress and voila, you’re good to go! If I had to choose a favorite accessory it would most definitely be a hat, any hat for any season. Anyway, enough about the clothing in this post, this day was one of those picture perfect days, the sky was partly cloudy, and we quickly snapped some photos before we sat down on the rocks watching the boats slowly make their way into the endless blue waters. there’s something quite fascinating about boats and the way they calmly sail over the waves as if they never have a final destination.

JUST A STRIPED DRESS

Striped maxi_00003 Striped maxi_00005 Striped maxi_00001 Striped maxi_00007 Striped maxi_00004

Dress: Mango (on sale!)

I haven’t worn stripes in a while and I must say it feels good to wear some print here and there, although I am a fan of stripes I don’t like when it takes over  the entire look. I believe that it was the relaxed feeling that really drew me in when I saw this dress… though it might also have been the softness of the fabric, something I always look for in clothing. Have a great week and thanks for stopping by! xx,
